The benefits of exercise are prodigious, not only for your physical wellbeing but also for your mental state. The fact that you will end up looking good (in and out of clothes) and of course feeling great are an added bonus to the numerous health benefits.
It is for these reasons and many more that I am passionate about exercise and hence health and wellness! Taking the step to begin training at any age or to improve on your current fitness and strength levels can be an empowering and rewarding journey.
My approach to training is that it should be-
Training programmes have to be designed for the individual as we are all different and this will be dependent on your goals.
Training programmes will be closely monitored in order to evaluate progress and to this end an initial assessment which will include, taking and monitoring your blood pressure if necessary, working out your Target Heart Rate, Ideal Body Mass, Body Adiposity Index, measuring your muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and cardio fitness levels will be carried out.. Assessments will be repeated every 3 months or less if necessary.
In order for you to stay motivated and enthusiastic your training programme has to be achievable but challenging.
Your programme will be designed within your capabilities
You should reach your goals within a certain time frame, this will keep you focused and moving forward.
